I’ve always been the loafers and flats type of girl, but lately, I’ve been getting more and more hooked on slingback heels. I don’t know how I survived this long—as a small girl—without ever wanting to try wearing heels casually, but now that I do, I just can’t get enough of it.
Slingback heels are so comfortable because they feel fresh and I don’t feel the need to wear socks. Not to mention the extra inches they add to my below 5 feet height. And of course, slingback heels are so stylish that you can easily pair them with any bottom for a casual yet classy look.
So with that, here are some of my favorite outfits!

A crop top and jeans with slingback heels outfit is probably my go-to at the moment. I like wearing black and brown or nude suede slingback pumps with mom jeans in particular because they complement each other so well. If you have a plain crop top, try to add more statement to it by wearing a layered necklace. A graphic crop shirt works so well with this outfit, too!
Nothing beats the little black dress when it comes to date nights, and I like styling mine with red slingback heels (or any red heels for that matter). They look good with both gold or silver accent pieces and a clutch bag. If you don’t have red slingback heels, you can also get away with a nude pair.
Slingback shoes look really great with denim. They make a perfect outfit when the weather is particularly hot and you want to stay classy with your jean shorts and button-up. I like pairing mine with printed slingback, such as snakeskin or leopard, or even a gingham design.
Apart from jeans, slingback heels are great when paired with slacks or trousers making them perfect for work. I absolutely know that uncomfortable feeling when using heels after a long day at work, and wearing slingback heels solve this one for me. I like using a medium-sized tote bag to toss my productivity planner in.
I usually style my maxi skirts (especially the polka print) with graphic shirts and slingback pumps for that bookstore girl vibe. This is also the time to flaunt that vintage satchel if you just went on some thrift store shopping. For a formal look, pair this outfit with a cream satin or silk cami top.
This is the time to take that mirror selfie to feature your boho decor as a background too.
