If there’s one place I always visit whenever I’m in Tagaytay, it’s the Ukay Ukay Hub.
For those of you who are guilty of stopping by thrift shops more than once a month, Ukay Ukay Hub should be one of your spots. It has A LOT of vintage clothes ranging from PHP 10 up to a thousand.
Everything is in there—dresses, jeans, jackets, blouses, shorts, skirts, bags, shoes, and so much more. I could spend a whole day here, to be honest. My minimum shopping time is probably around 4 hours.
In all honesty, Ukay Ukay Hub can be pricier than other thrift shops around Manila—that’s if you’re not patient enough to scan through the racks. And maybe that’s also because I usually fall in love with the new arrivals, which are set at a fixed price.
I suggest you start at the back of Ukay Ukay Hub because that’s the cheapest part. Although the racks are not as attractive as the new arrivals in front, you’ll never know when you find a good one. It’s like treasure hunting!
Just be careful when picking out clothes, because they have a tendency to get mixed up on the racks. Check the codes taped on the dress as they’re the actual basis for the prices.
Other than that, it’s a really fun experience to go thrift store shopping at Ukay Ukay Hub.
Ukay Ukay Hub is located along Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay (in front of Fora Mall). It’s open all week from 9 AM to 8 PM.
