I was Googling other places to do apart from food-tripping in Maginhawa, and I found a haven that music lovers would definitely love—the Yesteryears Music Gallery and Vinyl Store.
With thousands of vinyl records, any vintage lover would be thrilled to enter and do some thrift store shopping slash panic buying. I don’t even own a turntable but this shop left me dying to get one.
Yesteryears Music Gallery has vinyl from way back 1960s up to the early 2000s. They have Frank Sinatra, Paul Atra, Andy Williams, ABBA, Air Supply, even OPM classics, and so much more! The most expensive collection they have is probably from the Beatles.
They also have cassette tapes and CDs, embracing us 90s kids with nostalgic feels.
The best part? I was able to listen to Sinatra through this century-old gem.
I enjoyed my sightseeing experience. It was like traveling back in time. It’s just a bit hot inside, but I’ll surely go back here once I get my own Victrola record player.
Yesteryears Music Gallery is located at 87 Magiting cor Maginhawa St., Diliman, Quezon City. The place is kind of hard to spot, to be honest, but look for the small entry between Ate Fe’s Kitchen and Spicy Noodle House, a few blocks away from Cinema Centenario.
